How would you like to be the person who paid top dollar for the penthouse overlooking the neon L&C sign every night! This condo by Novare in Nashville isn't complete yet but I'm sure the owner is shopping for floor to ceiling blinds.

Rocky Point Blue

Highpoint has released their plans for the Rocky Point site where Oasis was to be built (aka Green Iguana bar) I don't think the developer has done a project of this magnitude in Tampa. It will be called Blue meridian and based on this pic should be pretty nice.

Amon leaps over Donald

Amon investments has changed their previous design from 2 towers to 1 really tall tower. So tall, infact, that it will surpass "The Donald" by 37 feet.

see related post from 4/11/2006
Update: turns out the FAA still needs to approve the building because of it's height

Citivest wants another shot

Citivest really wants to build on this park- they have lowered their original height proposal to 148ft from 195ft. They are currently zoned for 120ft. The city is playing hardball and surely can't be happy since Citivest took them to court in order to develop at Bayshore and DeSoto but the height difference and the proposed park and parking amenities may be an even trade...

Has anyone died here lately?

The following article in the NY Times reminded me of the "stigmatize" factor when it comes to selling a home. Physically the houses are fine but psychologically.... Also, Florida law does not require sellers to reveal if a murder or suicide happened at the house.

Publix coming to the condo district

Publix has asked to rezone the parcel adjacent to The Madison condos in order to build a two story grocery store. "They also show a ramp that would provide access to rooftop parking." Intersting... considering that adjacent to it will be the new Whiskey Park entertainment complex...food, bars and parking all in one place!

15 stories - 700 condos and a strip club

Developer Patel (previous owner of the Maas Bros building) is looking into developing 5 15 story buildings next to Mons Venus...talk about featured amenities!
